Ask not whence it came…

Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake; for “the earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness.”

1 Corinthians 10:25-26 NKJV

I haven’t had the time to study the rest of I Corinthians 8-11 for the fuller context of this verse, but there have been several times now, both last year and this year, when I wanted to reject some food, but the Lord brought this verse to my mind….

On our first evening of evangelism in a square we were standing in a circle organizing and praying and two or three water balloons were thrown, I did not see from where, but it was not our team. And they all went between us, as we were standing next to each other. As in, the probability of the water balloons hitting us was higher than not hitting us. But we didn’t get a spot of water on us. PRAISE the LORD 🥳 This event reminded me of some of the promises in Psalm 91 especially verse 7

Coming back the second year I am noticing things I did not last year, like watching a movie a second time. Last year I several times heard people say ‘it smells like urine’ but I never smelt it; this year I have. Last year I skipped many of the optional sightseeing because I wanted to rest, but this year the Lord has been inviting me into going further in His strength.

Praise the Lord! the team relationships have been building well and the dramas are really coming together.

One of our team members has had chronic migraines and some teammates prayed for her last a few nights ago and it went away and has not come back.

Please pray for continued good conversations and protection.
